The fACTory (Ages 16+)
Build Your Inner Actor. Elevate Your Performance.
Good actors know their lines. Great actors know how to own the stage.
If you've already caught the acting bug, this is where your work levels up.
The fACTory is an advanced actor-training intensive designed for teens who are ready to push beyond "good enough." Together, we'll break down the techniques that separate memorable performances from forgettable ones and help each actor discover their unique artistic voice.
Students will train through professional-style exercises inspired by conservatory programs while working in a fun, collaborative environment where taking risks is encouraged.
Throughout the session, we'll explore:
🎭 Contemporary monologue work
🎬 Scene study and partner work
🎤 Professional audition techniques
📖 Selecting audition material that showcases your strengths
💡 Character analysis
🎨 Physicality and movement
🎯 Stage presence
🗣 Voice and vocal storytelling
⚡ Improvisation
🎬 Cold reads
🎥 Camera vs. stage performance
👏 Receiving and applying professional feedback
🎯 Making bold, intentional acting choices
Students will participate in mock auditions with personalized feedback, helping remove the mystery (and fear) surrounding auditions while building confidence that carries into school productions, community theatre, competitions, and beyond.
Every actor will receive individualized coaching throughout the session to help identify strengths, overcome challenges, and create stronger, more authentic performances.
By the end of the program, students will have a deeper understanding of the craft and practical tools they can use in every audition and production.
Students will develop:
Professional audition skills
Character analysis
Stage presence
Confidence under pressure
Public speaking
Emotional intelligence
Creative risk-taking
Physical storytelling
Vocal technique
