Molly Esther Wilson is a professional actress, teaching artist, and founder of Stagecraft Arts Collective, born and raised in Winsted, Connecticut. A proud alumna of both The Gilbert School and the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts—where she was part of the very first Musical Theater class—Molly moved to New York City at 17 to pursue her passion full-time.

She earned her BFA in Acting from Pace University in 2014 and spent the next decade performing across Broadway, off-Broadway, television, and independent film. Her career has also taken her to Philadelphia, where she modeled with Wilhelmina Philadelphia and continued to appear in stage productions. Molly remains an active working actress today.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Molly found a creative outlet in social media—especially TikTok—where she began sharing content that blended her passions: acting and lip sync performance, SFX and character makeup, arts education advocacy, and plant care. Her unique mix of artistry and authenticity quickly gained traction. Since 2020, she has amassed over 124,000 followers and an astounding 6.8 million hours of total watch time across all views and videos combined from her online audience. Her influence has landed her on billboards in Las Vegas and Times Square, and in Sephora stores nationwide. Molly’s on-screen work can also be seen on Apple TV, Tubi, and Amazon Prime.

Following an abrupt layoff from a local theater where she had been cultivating young talent, she recognized a critical gap in accessible, high-quality arts education in her hometown. Molly transformed that loss into a mission: to offer the kind of professional-caliber, inclusive arts training she knew Litchfield County deserved.

That mission became Stagecraft Arts Collective—an innovative, heart-forward program built on real-world industry experience, professional standards, and a belief that all young people deserve the chance to discover their voice through the arts. Unlike anything else available in the region, Stagecraft is a safe haven for creativity, collaboration, and confidence.

With a dynamic background spanning early childhood to higher education, Molly had the privilege of teaching and leading in a wide range of learning environments. Beginning as an Arts and Enrichment teacher for infants through Pre-K at Educational Playcare, where she developed engaging, age-appropriate creative experiences for their youngest learners. Later serving as a trusted substitute teacher in Windsor Locks Public Schools, supporting students across multiple grade levels. As an adjunct professor at CT State–Northwestern, she brought real-world insights into the college classroom, and as Senior Education Manager at a regional theatre, she designed and led transformative arts programming for students of all ages. Each role has deepened her commitment to accessible, imaginative, and meaningful education.

Today, Molly splits her time between stage, screen, social media, and classroom—paying it forward to the next generation of artists with a program that champions authenticity, excellence, and the power of self-expression.
